Marks and Spencer has announced the launch of a range plus sized women's wear across sizes 20-28.

The UK retailer said today that the Plus winter collection will be sold exclusively online and include dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, suits, cardigans, and coats, which have been designed specifically for the plus sized woman.

M&S said that this season is "all about occasion and luxury" which is reflected in the feature fabrics, which include satin, velvet and sequins.

"There is always the classic black dress but choosing one of the more daring, eye-catching prints can speak volumes about fashion sense and can make you stand out from the crowd. Red is a key colour featured in prints and solid colours for that wintery feel," said M&S dresses buyer Danielle Hill.

Prices range from GBP9.50 for a cotton top to GBP89 for a party dress.
