The English company Evans was founded in 1930. Till 1970 the company was almost unknown in the world of fashion and developed very slowly. But everything changed when Evans was redeemed the Burton Group companies.
In 1972 clothes began to sell by post orders. By this time the company retail network already reached 77.
And though the company initially was engaged in production of clothes for full ladies, only in 1988 a brand to one of leaders of Great Britain in the market of clothes of the plus sizes for women.
Today the company has more than 330 shops in Great Britain and Ireland. Now the brand belongs to Arcadia group which as owns brands: Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Topman, Topshop, Wallis.
Evans sews women's clothing from 14 to 32 sizes. It, first of all, dresses, tunics, blouses, trousers, sweaters, jackets, coats, etc.
Under a brand of Evans exclusively women's clothing of the plus sizes, footwear, accessories and underwear is issued.
