 Dearcurves is the brainchild of plus size model and fashion designer; Linda Idegwu. The brand is an African Inspired clothing line for plus size women.
Dearcurves was founded in January 2012, the brand is a work in progress, wholly dedicated to making customers look even more fabulous.
The love of African prints, and fashion has been a part of Linda's life since childhood and the inspiration for the brand originates from African women; most of whom are naturally curvy and strikingly beautiful.
Staying true to her African roots, Linda's staple fabrics for all her designs are; Ase-oke, Ankara, Gele, George, Bubu, and TiV lace.
To achieve the lightweight and contemporary feel the brand is known for, western fabrics are incorporated in the designs. The fusion of African and Western fabrics leads to the production of flattering, curves accentuating and contemporary clothes for plus size women.
Linda continue to successfully use Dearcurves as a means of positively promoting and bringing African fashion to the western world, creating sustainable business for African Fabric makers and promoting African culture by making clothes for real women.
Generally the company lets out dresses, skirts and blouses of the plus sizes.
