The German company Verpass was founded in far 1948 by Joseph Svoboda. The company began with two employees who sewed dresses with aprons and long nightgowns.

After in 1974 Verpass was headed by Helmut Svoboda, the son of the founder of the company, sales of clothes began in several areas of Germany.

In 1976 release of beachwear began, and also products of the company began to be sold by means of mailings.

In 1991 own big collection of clothes was created. Time of dresses and night dresses ended. The new collection included trousers, dresses, blouses, skirts and jackets.

And in 1992 there was the first collection of a plus size women's clothing. So the company occupied a segment which at that time other companies even didn't think to be engaged and and remained in it still.
