Jeggins are some kind of mix of leggings and jeans. For the first time jeggins have appeared in 2009 when the designer of the Joe's brand Joe Deen has offered a novelty – leggings from a thin denim with addition of an elastane.
The novelty has received the name "jeggins" and have initially been presented in classical, shabby and fragmentary options of blue, white, beige and "boiled" shades.
After the Joe's brand, by autumn-winter season of 2009-2010 of a jeggins have appeared at such brands as Dolce&Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Current & Elliot, Patrizia Pepe, Rock & Republic, Bershka, H&M, Dorothy Perkins, Jane Norman.
The first for full girls and young women the British Yours brand in 2010 began to release jeggins.
