Calvin Klein was born in a family of the dealer grocery goods in 1942.

Having decided to become the fashion designer of clothes in the childhood, it graduated at first from the Higher school of arts and design, and then - Institute of technology of fashion.

After training in various Fashion houses and studio, he decided to open the business with support of parents and the child-hood friend for whom the partner in affairs in connection with death of the father was necessary.

The brand of Calvin Klein was based in 1968 by two friends: Calvin Klein and Barry Schwarz which opened in New York studio on tailoring of men's wear.

Having begun with clothes for men, Calvin Klein soon was engaged in development of products for women.

By the beginning of the 70th years it started lines of sportswear and models прет - and - port for women, then there were lines of linen, accessories.
