As a widow in America during the late 1800s, "Gram" pawned a pair of diamond earrings to buy a sewing machine so that she could make dresses to support her family.

Responding to a full-figured customer's request for something both "pretty and practical," Gram started a fashion revolution with her famous No. 5 dress design. Gram used to say that you should never ask women to conform their figures to fashion but rather bring fashion to the figure.

In 2002 great-grandsons Gram created the Fashion to figure company. Today FTF creates production, following the most current trends of the world of a fashion plus the size.
