Company Thiery has been based in Belgium in 1841 by name of Nikolay Tieri's its founder. Initially the company was engaged in manufacture and cloth sale, and began to sew clothes later.

Gradually company business extends and to France. In 20 century company Thiery wins positions in the European market. Today the company has 430 shops in France. However the company starts to let out lady's wear only in 1996.

In 1997 the great-grandson of the founder of the company Armand Tieri creates brand Toscane which is letting out lady's wear of the plus sizes.

Toscane creates dynamical collections for stout women who want to look stylishly and fashionably. Basically the company lets out dresses, blouses, tunics, cardigans, skirts, trousers, jackets and coat. All clothes from 44 till 52 (French) sizes or 14 to 20 (American).
