FTF was created by Nicholas and Michael Kaplan, the great-grandsons of Lena H. Bryant, the revolutionary businesswoman and visionary dressmaker who invented full-fashion more than 110 years ago.

Lena Brajant (a maiden name of Himmelshtajn), was born in Lithuania. In 1985 it has moved with a family to New York. Worked for 1$ a week hasn't married yet the jeweler by name of David Brajant who has soon died because of illness, without having left Lena practically anything.
 
To make ends meet, Lena spends last money for opening of house business. As a matter of fact, it became the creator of the first dress for pregnant women in the USA. And though similar subjects of clothes in the social relation have been forbidden at that time, soon Lena is recognized also huge popularity.
