Some 25 years ago, Johanna Timmer started the brand Yoek for plus sizes. Today it is known enough brand in the market of clothes for women of the big sizes. Company shops in 17 countries of the world.

Beauty has nothing to do with weight, according to Johanna. "People are fun and nice or not. Several women working at Yoek wear a large size. You don’t even notice that they are bigger than average, because they dress well and are very nice.”

In the beginning Johanna’s collection started at size 42, but she changed her mind about that. In accordance with her notion that all women should be able to wear the same kind of clothing, she decided to produce a collection sizes 38 to 58.

Even for the super plus sizes Yoek manages to  integrate the latest trends in an elegant way, including leather jackets with studs and boyfriend jeans.
