 The British company Evans has been created in 1930 by Jack Green. Till 1970 the company was little-known in the fashion world. Position has changed after Evans has been bought companies Burton Group.
In 1972 clothes Evans began to sell by mail. By this time the company chain store system has already reached 77. In 1988, brand Evans became in the lead in Great Britain in the market of clothes of the big sizes for women.
In 2007, the known top model plus of the size Crystal Renn, and in 2009 Evans becomes the official of a brand, has let out a lady's wear collection together with known rock singer Beth Ditto.
Today the company has more than 330 shops in Great Britain and Ireland. Now the brand belongs to group Arcadia which as owns brands: Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Topman, Topshop, Wallis.
Evans creates clothes from 14 to 32 sizes. It, first of all, dresses, tunics, blouses, sweaters, jackets, coats etc.
