For over 30 years Maggie T has been recognized as one of Australia’s leading designer fashion labels specializing in fashion for larger sizes.

The inspired affiliation, 30 years ago of two of the most respected names in the industry, led to the birth of the label. At the time research indicated that over 60% of Australian women wore a size 14 and yet the fashion industry was not catering accordingly.

As a direct result the brand quickly captured a solid niche in the market as a designer brand for larger women, sizes 12-24.

The first Maggie T store was established in Armadale, Victoria in 1980 and has since expanded to 27 stores throughout Australia.
